After graduating from community college, he began working for a local jeweler. He didn’t know anything about Jewelry but he worked hard and received Diamonds and Diamond Grading Certificate. In 1997, Rodriguez opened his own jewelry store but customers were telling him that they could find better deals on the Internet. Rodriguez recognized an opportunity and went for it. He found a dealer who agreed to provide him with some diamonds to sell on the Internet. His business grew nd he was able to close his store and get out of retail.
